WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT!
Thanks to the AMAZING work of our volunteers, we have surpassed our goals and now have enough signatures to get I-1639 on the ballot!
On June 8, a mighty team of volunteers made 600 packets filled with hot-off-the-press petitions, buttons, pens, and posters and then drove them to every corner of the state.
Immediately, they began gathering on ferries, at parks, stores, churches, zoos, retirement homes and special events across Washington State. That Sunday evening, the signatures started pouring in and it never let up.
We have been completely humbled by their efforts. Their stories have inspired us to fight even harder for commonsense gun laws that will save lives and set an example for the rest of the country.
PLEASE JOIN US AS WE SUBMIT OUR SIGNATURES IN OLYMPIA THIS FRIDAY
We’re officially submitting our signatures to the Secretary of State on July 6! We’ll be at the Elections Division at 11 am.
See you there and don’t forget to wear orange!
